A Manhattan pied-a-terre, the small 2-bedroom apartment can accommodate two to eight guests. The beds in each bedroom are custom-designed to have trundles, as well as the sectional that contains a full-size pullout. With panoramic views of the city and the East River, the living space needed to be a moment of peace and calm in a chaotic urban setting. Each space has a monochromatic identity to allow for the low ceilings to be a feature rather than a flaw, but finished with hand painted textures and natural materials to evoke warmth of the spaces.
